Do The Dishes, Too
© 2004 Jayme Kelly Curtis

My man's kissing sends me to the moon
But I know he really loves me in the afternoon
When he scrubs the tub, and takes out the trash
His help around the house is better than cash

Do me right all through the night
But do the dishes, too
Feed the baby, mop the floors
Don't leave it up to me to take care of the chores

Before you start to whistling that honeymoon tune
Let's see what you can do with a mop and a broom
Do me right all through the night
But do the dishes, too

Do me right all through the night
But do the laundry, too
Make me good, then make the bed
That's the way to make your sweet love go to my head

You can love me in the morning and the nighttime, too
But pitching in around the house will keep me squeezing you
Do me right all through the night
But do the dishes, too

Do me right all through the night
But make me breakfast, too
Bake them biscuits then clean up the mess
That’s the thing I like the best

You can love me all night with a slow, slow hand
Then go and make some noise with the pots and pans
Do me right all through the night
But do the dishes, too!
