In A Rushing Stream Studio Photo Gallery

These shots were taken during the recording of "In A Rushing Stream," at Dave Meniketti's Space Station Studio in Santa Clara, California. Guitarist Rolly Brown recorded his amazing lead for "Alchemy" at Maggie's Farm in Pipersville, Pennsylvania. The Rhythm Section

Bassist Preston Carter is the hardest working bass player in the Bay Area. His distinctive sound can be heard on Big City Blues, Lanternland, and Sideshow Percussionist Jimmy Biala added his rhythm magic to all 12 tunes on "In a Rushing Stream." Check out Jimmy's band Nueva Charanga for the real Cuban sound.

Bassist Myron Dove has played with the likes of Santana. He lent his extraordinary bass talent to Searchlight, Locked Out and the amazing bass solo on Shape of Your Heart. Bassist Lisa Burns can be heard on Magic Colorado and Circle of Joy. Lisa plays regularly with the legendary Bay Area bluegrass group Sidesaddle & Co. Here she is with her Azola "Bug" bass.

The Magicians

My songs "Magic Colorado" and "Circle of Joy" are gifted with beautiful guitar leads by Bruce Argyle, who performs regularly with me. Barbara Ann Barnett's full title is Global Accordion Ambassador. Her accordion on Sideshow really gives that song the flavor I was looking for.

Cats 'N Jammer Violinist (and guitarist, saxophonist, banjo player and singer) Tony Marcus is responsible for that amazing violin solo on Searchlight, as well as the back up on Documentary. Dig those threads! (Okay, so this wasn't shot at the session.) When I told Dave Meniketti that Walter Bankovitch played piano for my wedding reception, he just rolled his eyes. His eyes practically popped out of his head when Walter came into the studio and Dave heard how good he is. I am thrilled to be able to gig regularly with the Walter Bankovitch Jazz Trio.

Midyne Spear plays her lovely Celtic harp on Magic Colorado and Circle of Joy. You can find out more about Midyne and her band, Electric Angel by visiting their web page. Dave Meniketti is the wizard that made it all happen. In addition to being an extraordinary recording engineer and artist, Dave is a legendary rock guitarist and vocalist. He shreds it up on Locked Out, and adds some nice background harmonies, too. Visit Dave Here.
