Jayme Kelly Curtis loves to perform in round robin
concerts with other singer/songwriters. In 2002, Jayme invited three of
her friends to do a show with her in Boulder Creek, California. In addition
to performing their own songs, the four friends worked up a couple of a
cappella harmony pieces for an encore. The audience loved it! "Mountain Women:Voices of the Valley" was born. The group performs occasional local concerts, schedule permitting. From left, the Mountain Women are Tanya Ossipoff, Laura Devine, Lady Michal Lauren and Jayme Kelly Curtis. Song selections range from folk to Renaissance to jazz.

TANYA OSSIPOFF is a long-time music educator, choir director and performer in Santa Cruz County. She is very well received by her many fans as she dazzles them with her lush and sultry voice. She loves to sing for her community, especially blues and jazz, and is always busy organizing cooperative singing events. LAURA DEVINE has been music director of the United Methodist Church of Boulder Creek for several years, is an accomplished player and proponent of the mountain dulcimer, and regularly leads song circles for Christian retreat camps. LADY MICHAL LAUREN, singer, songwriter and muse, has been delighting Santa Cruz County audiences for many years with her delicate guitar playing, haunting melodies, and lovely soprano voice.
