Sugar & Sand was recorded, mixed and mastered by Justin
Mayer at Bear Creek
Recording Studio in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The CD was recorded
digitally with Digital Performer. Jayme's lead vocals were recorded live
with no edits using a Neuman U87 microphone. Walter Bankovitch's piano
tracks, Dave Meniketti's shred guitar on Earthquake, and some of Radim
Zenkl's tracks were recorded at the Space Station in Santa Clara, California.
Mimi Hills' bass track and Carol McComb's Dobro® track were recorded
at Carol's Casa Con Corazon Studio in Woodside, California.

• Mixed through a 32 channel Soundcraft Ghost
console
• Acoustic Guitars & percussion recorded with a combo of
Neumann 184's & B&K 4006 mics
• Vocals recorded with either a Neumann TLM-103 or CAD VX-2
tube mic & compressed with a Distressor EL-8 and/or RNC compressors
• Digital reverbs, effects, etc, using various Lexicon, Roland
& Alesis fx units. Monster Cable & Mogami mic cables &
interconnects used throughout
• Mixed to a Panasonic SV-3700 DAT & pre-mastered at 24bit/96KHz
resolution through Samplitude 24/96 Digital Audio Workstation
